1. DEFINITIONS

In these Terms:

  • “Guest” means any person in possession of a valid ticket (of any type) granting access to the Event.
  • “Event” means Mucky Weekender Festival held at Vicarage Farm, Woodmancott, Winchester, SO21 3BL.
  • “Company” means the entity organising the Event (e.g. CBD Festivals Limited T/A Mucky Weekender, Ashley Barn Farmhouse, Briantspuddle, Dorchester, England, DT2 7HL). Company number 12353575
  • “Website” means the official Mucky Weekender website: https://mucky-weekender.co.uk
  • “Ticket” means a valid entry ticket to the Event, including all types of access (general, live-in/camping, special accommodation).
  • “Accommodation Pitch / Camping Pitch / Live-In Vehicle” means any spot allocated for camping, glamping, or bringing a vehicle to stay in.
  • “Prohibited Items” means items listed under clause 8 and any additional items on the Website or at the Event stated as prohibited.
  • “Unavailable” means circumstances where the Event or part of it is unavailable due to unsafe conditions, legal restrictions, weather, or other reasons beyond the Company’s control.

2. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

2.1 Once a Ticket is purchased via the Website or authorised agents, it may not normally be cancelled or refunded except in accordance with these Terms.

2.2 If the Event is Unavailable (or part of it), the Company will notify Guests and offer either:
2.2.1 a rescheduled date for which the Ticket remains valid; or
2.2.2 a refund (less any booking or administrative fees).

2.3 If a Guest cancels within a “cooling-off” period (if such is legally required / offered), then a refund (possibly less fees) may be possible, provided the Ticket was purchased sufficiently in advance of the Event.

2.4 No refunds will be given for failure to attend, adverse weather (unless extreme), lost tickets, or change of mind, unless otherwise stated by the Company.

2.5 If a Ticket is transferred or resold contrary to policy (see clause 5), it may be void, with no refund.

3. HEALTH, SAFETY & AGE RESTRICTIONS

3.1 The Festival is strictly 16+ only.
3.2 Guests aged 16-17 must be accompanied by a full-paying adult at all times.
3.3 The Company may impose health & safety measures (e.g. searches, restrictions) and Guests must comply.

3.4 Proof of age (ID) may be required on arrival. Failure to provide valid ID may lead to refusal of entry.

3.5 Guests acknowledge that attendance involves inherent risks (terrain, weather, crowd size, etc.), and attend at their own risk.

4. TICKETING

4.1 Every Guest requires a valid Ticket. Different Ticket types may grant different access or rights (e.g. general entry vs accommodation vs live‐in vehicle access).

4.2 Tickets are non-transferable except with prior written consent of the Company. Resale at a profit, or by unauthorised agents, is prohibited and may void the Ticket.

4.3 Wristbands or wrist tickets (if used) must be kept intact for the duration of the Festival. Misuse or loss may result in no re-entry.

4.4 The Company reserves the right to refuse entry, revoke a Ticket, or eject any Guest whose Ticket is invalid, or who is in breach of Terms.

4.5 Ticket prices, booking fees, and accommodation charges are as advertised at purchase. The Company reserves the right to vary pricing tiers prior to sell-out.

5. TERMS APPLICABLE TO ALL GUESTS

5.1 There is a maximum capacity for the Festival (≈ 5,000 Guests).

5.2 All Guests must comply with all instructions from Festival staff, security, emergency services.

5.3 Behaviour that is disorderly, threatening, dangerous or otherwise unacceptable may lead to ejection without refund.

5.4 Each Guest is responsible for their personal property. The Company accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage.

5.5 Guests must respect the site, other Guests, local community, environment. No undue noise, littering, or damage.

5.6 Access and exit times are as specified on the Website / Ticket; late entry may be restricted.

6. CAMPING, LIVE-IN VEHICLES & ACCOMMODATION PITCHES

6.1 Camping and live-in vehicle spaces are allocated or chosen under the Company’s policies. Guests must follow directions for pitching.

6.2 Use of camping stoves, BBQs, fires etc. are subject to safety rules and may be prohibited under certain conditions.

6.3 Guests must not camp under overhead power lines or obstruct emergency access.

6.4 Accommodation options (bell tents, yurts, Airstream, caravans etc.) booked via the Festival must be treated with care; any damage may be charged.

6.5 Check-in and check-out times for any accommodation must be followed; early departure does not necessarily entitle refund.

6.6 Guests must remove all rubbish and leave pitches as instructed.

7. USE OF VEHICLES AT THE EVENT

7.1 A Ticket must be held for any Vehicle entering the site (e.g. live-in, car passes).

7.2 Once parked, vehicles must stay in allocated parking until departure, unless asked by staff to move.

7.3 All drivers must have valid licence, tax, MOT (if applicable) and insurance.

7.4 Speed limits on site must be observed (e.g. low speed to ensure safety).

7.5 Vehicles, caravans etc. are left at owners’ risk. The Company is not liable for damage, theft or loss.

8. PROHIBITED ITEMS

The following items (including others added on the Website) are not permitted:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances
  • Weapons, knives, any item that could be used as weapon
  • Glass bottles or glass containers (all liquids in plastic)
  • Fireworks, Chinese lanterns, explosives
  • Drones or aerial devices
  • Excessively large gas cylinders, open fires, BBQs (unless specifically allowed under conditions)
  • Generators (unless authorised)
  • Pets (except registered assistance animals; prior notification required)
  • Loud sound systems beyond personal/normal use
  • Any other items deemed dangerous or unsuitable by Company or its security staff

The Company reserves the right to search persons and vehicles on arrival. Prohibited items may be confiscated, with no obligation to return or refund.

9. FACILITIES, ENTERTAINMENT & ENTERING/EXITING TIMES

9.1 The Event will feature multiple stages (4-5) across the site, camping, glamping, accommodation types, food & drink vendors, etc.

9.2 Entertainment times are as follows (or as advertised on Website / Tickets):

  • Thursday (if applicable) arrival / early entry: gates/car park/live-in vehicle entry from ~9am, entertainment preliminaries from early afternoon until approx. 11pm.
  • Friday & Saturday: entertainment generally from midday → around 2am.
  • The Festival ends by a time posted on Website; no music after the cutoff.

9.3 Car park, live-in vehicle and public entry gates: open and close times are as advertised. Guests arriving outside permitted hours may be refused entry until gates reopen.

10. FURTHER REGULATIONS RELATING TO THE EVENT

10.1 Guests must comply with all signage, rules posted, verbal instructions from staff or security.

10.2 Any breach of these Terms, or behaviour considered dangerous, antisocial or detrimental to other guests or the site may lead to eviction without refund.

10.3 Any commercial activity, trading, flyering, distribution of promotional material must be authorised in writing by the Company.

10.4 Use of the Festival’s name, logos or branding for any purpose (promotion, audio/video etc.) must have prior written consent.

11. LIABILITY OF THE COMPANY

11.1 Nothing in these Terms shall limit liability for death or personal injury caused by the Company’s negligence or that of its agents.

11.2 Subject to that, the Company is not liable for indirect, consequential loss, or for loss of personal property (tents, vehicles, equipment etc.).

11.3 Guests use the site and facilities at their own risk.

12. EVENTS BEYOND THE COMPANY’S REASONABLE CONTROL

12.1 The Company shall not be liable to Guests for failure to perform its obligations where that failure is due to something outside its reasonable control (“Force Majeure”), including extreme weather, acts of government, pandemics, etc.

12.2 If the Event is cancelled, postponed or parts altered because of such events, the Company may offer reschedule or refund (less reasonable fees).

12.3 Guests must accept that certain parts of the Festival may be affected (e.g. certain performances cancelled).

13. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

13.1 Guests’ personal data is handled in accordance with the Festival’s Privacy & Cookies Policy, available on the Website.

13.2 By attending, Guests consent to being photographed, filmed, and their likeness used for promotional purposes.

13.3 CCTV and other monitoring may be in use; footage may be used for safety, security or promotional purposes as per policy.

14. THESE TERMS

14.1 The Company reserves the right to update or amend these Terms at any time; latest version published on the Website shall apply.

14.2 These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be heard in the courts of England & Wales.

14.3 If any provision is found illegal or unenforceable, remaining provisions remain in force.
